What happens if my order arrives in bad conditions?

We consider an arrival in bad condition if the box or cheeses are open or crushed. Please contact us with a picture of the package or product at info@vacanegra.com

At Vaca Negra take pride in our cheeses and product. Our quality control process includes checking each and every one of the packages we are sending you, to make sure they are in the best condition and are ready to enjoy.

How do you ship?

Each cheese is aged in our temperature and humidity-controlled cellar and approved for consumption no less than 2 months, when they’ve reached optimal ripeness and peak flavors. All our cheeses are cut, weighted and vacuum packed before shipping.

Each order is packaged in insulated cartons, fitted with gel ice packs and cushioned with packing peanuts. They are shipped Priority Express Mail to ensure they get to you in less than 48 hours.

We take as much care in shipping our cheeses as we do in caring for them.

Why do you charge a shipping fee?

At Vaca Negra, we want to make sure you receive your products in the BEST possible condition. Because cheese is a perishable item, our shipping costs include insulated packing and ice packs, which in turn adds a bit more weight to your package. We only ship USPS or Federal Express Next Day Shipping.

Keep in mind that ordering more than one (7 oz) cheese will be more cost effective. We recommend ordering at least three to six cheeses per order.
